Frisco is a friendly mountain town where you can stroll lively Main Street, paddle or sail from the marina, bike paths or snow tube at the adventure park, visit six nearby ski areas, join year round festivals, and relax between Lake Dillon and the Tenmile Range.

The Summit Stage runs free, frequent buses from the Frisco Transit Center to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Dillon, and Silverthorne, so you reach lifts, shops, and medical stops without a car. Main Street, just a half mile south of I-70 Exit 203, stays pedestrian-friendly, and most lodges sit within a ten-minute stroll of dining and gear shops.

You can trace Frisco’s path from a Ute hunting ground to an 1873 silver boom town that nearly emptied during the Great Depression, then rebounded into a ski hub whose rich past, comes alive at the Frisco Historic Park and Museum.

Frisco is at 9,000-plus feet, so drink water early, pace hikes, and wear broad-spectrum sunscreen. Afternoon storms build fast, pack a light rain shell even on bright mornings.
