Mesa Verde National Park

Many park facilities and roads operate on a seasonal schedule. Wetherill Mesa Road, Step House, and some cliff dwellings typically close from late October through spring due to snow and safety concerns. Visitor services such as the Far View Lodge and Morefield Campground also close during winter months. Snow, ice, or storm damage may cause additional temporary road closures. Always check current conditions before traveling.
