Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge

The refuge is open daily from sunrise to sunset for most of the year, with extended evening hours during the early summer period. It is closed on the three major winter holidays. Select routes, including segments of First Creek and Upper Derby, can close seasonally to protect wildlife or for management needs.

Afternoon thunderstorms are common in the summer, so plan ahead.
